Shipping Update (November 15/24): The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has announced a national strike. We are no longer using Canada Post to ship orders. We are continuing to ship orders through couriers like ICS, Purolator, UPS, etc. There will be no disruption for orders sent by courier. 

If your address includes a PO Box or a Rural Route (RR#), we are limited to using Canada Post as the shipping carrier. Please provide an alternate address (like a friend or family member, a workplace, etc) so your order can be delivered during the strike. 

We generally ship Xpresspost orders via Canada Post but may be able to use a courier depending on your address. We encourage you to reach out to us if you need your order sent by Xpresspost. Email us at info@bellies.ca or use the online chat function.

We ship orders Monday to Friday and in most cases your order will be heading to the post office within 1-2 business days.  We offer two service options:

Shipping Options:

  • Standard Expedited Shipping (2-10 Business Days)
  • Express Shipping (2-4 Business Day)

Customers on Vancouver Island, within BC, or in Western Canada will receive their orders towards the shorter range above. Customers in Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada will receive their orders towards the longer range.

Please note that shipping days refer to full business days, not including weekends or holidays. The days are counted after the day the parcel is shipped. The guidelines are for major urban centers. If you live outside of a large city, your parcel will take longer to reach you. We cannot be responsible for inconveniences caused by late delivery beyond our control. 

We generally use Canada Post as our shipping carrier, however we may use other couriers (UPS, FedEx, Canpar, ICS). If your parcel is small and we can use the Canada Post letter mail service, we will. This service has no tracking. Once your order has been fulfilled and is in the shipping carrier's possession, we don't hold any liability for lost or damaged shipments. In the rare case of loss or damage, we will offer assistance to resolve the issue with the shipping carrier. 

Our free shipping offer automatically applies to orders that meet the minimum threshold of $150 before tax and are within Canada. We will use the most cost effective service when shipping for free.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless it is as a result of our error. In the case of an exchange, in most cases we will cover the standard shipping costs for the replacement items.

In-store Pickup:

The best option if you are local or travelling to Victoria. Take advantage of a flash sale or snap up a hard-to-find item. Purchase online, we'll pack your order and email when it's ready. You can pick-up at your convenience at our location in Victoria during regular business hours.

International orders and customs/duty

We have had very positive experience with international orders. Depending on the goods, country of origin and country being shipped to, customs and duties may apply to an order. In most cases, using our standard shipping services we find that these additional charges do not occur. However, if your country chooses to charge customs and duty, this is outside of our control and the charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Certain international countries have significantly higher shipping costs, so we reserve the right to contact you and discuss alternatives before accepting your order.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at our discretion.

Limits of the Welcome coupon code (if you sign up in the pop up):

The coupon code can only be used once per customer. We cannot apply the coupon code retroactively. If you have any issues with the code, please reach out by email or instant chat BEFORE you checkout. The coupon code does not apply to any exchange items.

Online Local Pick Up Deadline

Orders placed online using the Local Pick Up option need to be picked up within 45 days from purchase. After 45 days, your order will be automatically refunded and the items will not be held. The refund will be processed to the original form of payment. If your card has been cancelled or replaced since your purchase, please reach out to us. Refunds processed to cancelled cards cannot be retrieved.
